Job summary

Celebree School of Marietta at Shallowford is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to nurture the earliest development, guiding children through age-appropriate activities in a caring, safe environment.

You will align with Celebree’s vision and collaborate with classroom aides, maintain accurate records, follow state licensing requirements, and create engaging lesson plans that support growth and curiosity.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day’s activities with infants, offering guidance as they take first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the infant curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting space that fosters curiosity.
• Accurately complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records and attendance.
