Brighton Learning Center, Inc. is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to nurture and inspire our youngest learners in a warm, engaging environment.

We are dedicated to early childhood education and strive to create a positive and enriching experience for infants and toddlers. You will develop and implement age-appropriate lessons, observe progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to foster a cohesive learning community.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and milestones.
• Engage with parents and families through regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a cohesive learning community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Support children in developing social skills and emotional regulation through guided play and activities.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and milestones.
• Engage with parents and families through regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma/equivalent.
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
