Job Overview

Hillcrest Children’s Academy is seeking a passionate, joyful, and dependable Infant/Toddler Teacher (ages birth-36 months) to join our growing team! As a brand-new center, we are building a team of educators who are committed to excellence, faith, and high-quality early education. Assistant Teachers will support classrooms across all age groups and play a vital role in maintaining a nurturing, engaging learning environment. We are looking for individuals who feel called to serve children and families through Christ-centered education.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity
• Managing classroom behavior to ensure a safe, respectful, and structured atmosphere
• Provide individualized support to children, adapting guidance and instruction to meet diverse learning styles
• Foster strong communication with families regarding children’s development and progress
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and classroom documentationCollaborate with teaching staff to promote a cohesive, inclusive learning environment
• Float between classrooms as needed to provide coverage and support
