Action Pathways, Inc. is seeking an Early Head Start Infant and Toddler Specialist to support and guide Head Start programs for ages birth to 36 months.

You will collaborate with teaching staff to deliver high-quality care and education, applying best practices in early childhood development. You will coach staff, monitor development, ensure compliance with Head Start standards, and participate in program-wide activities and self-assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field required.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers, preferably in Head Start or similar program.
• Profound knowledge of child development birth to 36 months and early childhood education best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing program needs.
• Spanish language skills a plus (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Carry out tasks related to care and education of children birth to 36 months as prescribed by Head Start Performance Standards.
• Support teaching staff through Practice-Based Coaching protocol.
• Monitor children’s care, education and development.
• Monitor classrooms through focused observations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and regulations.
• Provide technical assistance to teachers on curricula, assessments, routines, and environment.
• Participate in program self-assessment and team meetings.
