The Learning Experience is hiring an Infant & Toddler Lead Teacher in New York, NY (Hell's Kitchen & Hudson Yards). Pay is $22–$28 per hour, with a full-time Mon-Fri schedule.

The role involves guiding infants or toddlers, delivering the LEAP curriculum, and partnering with families to support child development. Qualified candidates bring prior early childhood classroom experience, strong classroom management and communication skills, and meet NYC Article 47 requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Infant or Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet NYC Article 47 qualifications for an Infant/Toddler Group Teacher

Responsabilités

• Lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging Infant or Toddler classroom.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create age-appropriate sensory, language, music, movement, and play-based learning experiences.
• Support individualized feeding, diapering, safe sleep, toileting, and daily care routines as appropriate.
• Encourage cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development.
• Observe and document children's developmental milestones.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain classroom health, safety, and licensing standards
