Job description

Summary

We're looking for joyful caregivers and educators to join our team!


Turn to Joy provides high-quality care for infants and toddlers in a responsive, nurturing setting.

Position open in our South Hero location. Small group size, and welcoming environment.

The lead teacher is responsible for planning and prep of daily learning activities, maintaining positive communication with team members and families.



Duties

Responsive and nurturing interactions with young children. Respectful and positive attitude.

Play on the floor, initiating songs, games, positive encouragement. Planning and implementing learning activities that are developmentally appropriate and engaging.

Communicating and collaborating with teams members about daily tasks including diapering, feeding, cleaning, and preparing for activities.


Requirements

Applicants need to have completed an Associates Degree in a related field, or have completed Child Care Certificate or the Child Care Apprenticeship program.


Required trainings for Child Care in VT.


Background Check and fingerprints.


Available to start June 1, 2025
