Join our growing team and make an impact at the Minnesota JCC! We are seeking a full-time Infant / Toddler Lead Teacher at our Minneapolis Sabes Center. Essential Functions

• Provide high quality care to our children and families in a manner which reflects the mission and values of our organization.
• Challenge each child to reach their potential and guide their activities academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
• Create a learning environment where children are engaged and challenged.
• Develop and implement age appropriate curriculum.
• Complete evaluations and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
• Foster relationships with families through daily communication.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• College degree or minimum number of credits in Early Childhood Education or an ECE related field, or CDA with a min of 2 years exp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
• Experience developing and implementing age based curriculum.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with participants.
• Attend required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high risk activities and supervising participants.
• Report inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate with others. This is primarily an active role, which requires the employee to move around regularly. May be required to assist adults who use both manual and electric wheelchairs.
