Job summary

Riverfront Children's Center is seeking qualified staff to support Infant/Toddler classrooms in a nonprofit Early Childhood Education program. The role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons, ensuring safety, and engaging families with daily communications.

Candidates should have a CDA with 12 ECE core credits or higher, or an Associate/Bachelor’s in ECE with core credits, pass a background check, and obtain CT First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration

Qualifications

• CDA with 12 ECE Core credits or higher education in ECE required.
• Demonstrated experience working with children or customer service.
• State background check passed or eligible.
• Must obtain CT First Aid and Infant/Child CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
• Willingness to enroll in degree program if not yet completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lesson plans per CT standards.
• Interact positively with children and families.
• Maintain a safe, healthy classroom environment.
• Engage children in play-based learning in groups and one-on-one.
• Communicate daily with parents about progress and activities.
