Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to support families in the NC Infant-Toddler Program. This role coordinates services, conducts home visits, and works with diverse teams to develop IFSPs for children birth to three across six counties.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field and relevant experience; travel within Carteret, Craven, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, and Pamlico Counties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience working with the population served.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services field and three years of professional experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional IFSPs with families.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to determine needs for supports and services.
• Conduct home visits.
• Coordinate services such as speech and physical therapy.
• Arrange and monitor other early intervention services.
• Plan for transition to other services at age three.
