Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational background and experience in early childhood field.
• Completion of Protecting God’s Children training and health-related trainings (including CPR/First Aid) and fingerprints on file.

Responsibilities

• Create an emotionally responsive, caring, positive, and accepting environment supportive of the individual development of each child and family.
• Supervise young children and ensure a safe and loving environment, including monitoring events in classroom, playground, and campus.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Punctuality and dependability.
• Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and rules contained in the Academy Handbook.
• Maintain productive and professional relationships with other Sacred Heart faculty and staff.
