LeafSpring School Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early learning community. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a nurturing classroom environment for infants and toddlers, implementing play-based learning activities and ensuring each child's developmental needs are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in child care, preschool, daycare, or toddler education is preferred.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines including circle time, story time, snack, and outdoor play.
• Assist with lesson planning based on children's developmental needs.
• Supervise children during classroom transitions and group play.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Encourage independence and social interaction through positive guidance.
• Observe and document children's behavior for communication with families.
