Job summary

Kids Konnect Infant Care and Preschool in the Bay Area seeks a Floater Teacher with Early Childhood Education units and infant/toddler coursework completed. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, and requires energetic, creative teamwork and reliable, organized performance.

You will design age-appropriate activities and engage families during drop-off and pick-up. Qualifications include 6–12 core ECE units, infant/toddler coursework or enrollment in related classes, and Live Scan

Qualifications

• 6-12 completed core semester units in Early Childhood/Child Development and enrolled in at least 2 semester units until fully qualified including Infant/Toddler classes if working with the infants and toddlers.
• At least 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program.
• Live Scan fingerprinting completed.
• Experience with designing curriculum and carrying out age appropriate activities for young children.
• Experience with speaking to families at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child’s day.

We are looking for:

• Floater Teacher with Early Childhood Education units completed (min. 12 core units + infant/toddler course completed)

Shift will be M-F 8:30am-5:30pm

Qualifications for Teachers:

• 6-12 completed core semester units in Early Childhood/Child Development and enrolled in at least 2 semester units until fully qualified including Infant/Toddler classes if working with the infants and toddlers (currently enrolled in ECE is ok)
• at least 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program
• Live Scan (FBI/DOJ fingerprinted)
• Experience with designing curriculum and carrying out age appropriate activities for young children
• Experience with speaking to families at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child’s day
