Job summary

Blue River Early Learning Academy in Crete is seeking an energetic, nurturing person who desires to contribute to an excellent environment of education through play, while helping to shape the future of our infants.

You will assist the teacher to collect and enter child assessment data, support parent engagement and community partnerships, and help maintain a safe, productive classroom. This is a full-time M-F role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate certification or certification/degree as described in BVCA's employment conditions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize integrated curriculum plans reflecting developmentally appropriate practice and promote the program's school readiness goals.
• Assist the teacher to collect and enter child assessment data.
• Support parent engagement and community partnerships.
• Model sensitivity and foster relationships.
• Communicate effectively and professionally.
• Maintain a safe, clean, healthy and productive work environment.
• Pursue professional growth and development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in a timely manner.
