The Learning Experience in Bastrop, TX is seeking an Infant Teacher to provide loving care and age-appropriate learning experiences for our youngest students.

You will create a safe, engaging classroom, support early development, and collaborate with families and staff to ensure a positive and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience preferred, or six months required.
• Associate degree in ECE or related field preferred, or HS diploma/GED required.
• Experience with infants and a caring, nurturing approach.

Responsabilités

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and routines.
• Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to support early development and sensory exploration.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.

• Maintain accurate daily records of feeding, diapers, naps, and observations.
• Follow Texas childcare licensing requirements and center health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership to support a team environment.

As an Infant Teacher, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where our youngest learners can grow, explore, and thrive.

What You'll Do

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and supporting daily routines.
• Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support early development, sensory exploration, and motor skills.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities, milestones, and progress.
• Maintain accurate daily records, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and developmental observations.
• Follow Texas childcare licensing requirements and all center health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with other teachers and center leadership to create a supportive, team-oriented environment.

As a Infant Teacher, you will:

• Previous experience working with infants
• Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
• Genuine love for working with babies and supporting early childhood development.
• Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and center leadership.
• Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.

Do You:

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
• Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
• Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?
