Duties

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, focusing on their individual needs and developmental milestones.
• Engage with children through various center based activities, including arts, crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• CPR and first aide certified or willing to obtain
• 1+ years of experience of prior classroom or child caregiving in a daycare or preschool (preferred).
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
• Experience in infant care and toddler care is highly desirable.
• Ability to engage with children effectively, fostering their curiosity and love for learning..
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude combined with patience and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
