Busy Bee Preschool in Longmont, CO is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join our warm, responsive classroom. You will provide attentive infant care, support routines, and collaborate with a strong classroom team to ensure consistent, loving care during baby’s first year.

The role emphasizes interaction, patience, and adherence to health and licensing standards, with a part‑time schedule and opportunities for training and growth within a supportive preschool environment.

Formación

• Previous child care experience preferred.
• Infant experience strongly preferred.
• Must be dependable and able to work a consistent part‑time schedule.
• Must meet Colorado child care licensing requirements for the position.
• Must be willing to complete required training and professional development.
• Infant/child first aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).

Responsabilidades

• Provide attentive, responsive care to infants.
• Engage infants through talking, singing, reading, tummy time, sensory experiences, and age-appropriate play.
• Assist with bottles, meals, diaper changes, naps, and other daily routines.
• Follow individual feeding and sleeping schedules.
• Maintain proper supervision and classroom ratios.
• Follow health, sanitation, handwashing, and diapering procedures.
• Help maintain an organized and welcoming classroom.
• Communicate important information with the Lead Teacher and administration.
• Build positive, professional relationships with families.
• Follow all Busy Bee Preschool policies and Colorado child care licensing requirements.

About This Role

Infant Assistant Teacher

Busy Bee Preschool is looking for a dependable, nurturing, and engaged Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team! Our infant classroom is a warm, responsive environment where relationships, routines, and individualized care are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and understands that quality infant care requires patience, attentiveness, teamwork, and lots of interaction. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a strong classroom team and understands how important consistent, loving care is during a baby's first year.

What You'll Do
