Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate Infant Teacher to join our Jacksonville center. You will implement our LEAP Curriculum with infants and toddlers, ensuring a safe and nurturing space where children can learn and grow.

Regular updates to families via apps and in-person discussions are expected, alongside collaboration with center staff to promote enrollment and engagement. CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with infants/toddlers and developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implement the LEAP Curriculum with infants and toddlers.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Regularly communicate with parents about child progress via apps and discussions.
• Support center enrollment and engagement goals with staff and leadership.
• Build positive relationships with families and coworkers.
• Manage the classroom to maintain a safe, engaging learning space.
• Model growth mindset to encourage early learning.

Role Responsibilities:

• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants and Toddlers in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.


• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and thrive.


• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.


• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.


• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.


• Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.


• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning

Qualifications:

• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience preferred.


• CDA or Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred. High school diploma/GED required.


• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).


• CPR and First Aid certification


• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role (DCF 45 hours)
