Anchor Point Early Learning Academy in East Greenwich, RI is seeking a passionate Infant Teacher to join our caring team. You will provide attentive daily care, support exploration, and help infants feel safe and loved.

This role emphasizes collaboration with lead teachers, communication with families, and adherence to Rhode Island licensing standards. A caring demeanor and strong safety focus are essential for helping infants thrive in our nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in infant care within licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred.
• Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate activities.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving daily care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
• Implement age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities for infants.
• Monitor and document each infant's developmental milestones and daily progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's day and development.
• Follow health, safety, and licensing regulations in Rhode Island childcare standards.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support a consistent, nurturing curriculum.

• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations in accordance with Rhode Island childcare standards
• Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support a consistent, nurturing curriculum

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred
• Knowledge of infant development, best practices, and age-appropriate activities
• CDA credential, Early Childhood Education coursework, or equivalent experience a plus
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check in compliance with Rhode Island childcare regulations
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for infant care
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families
