Job summary

Primrose School of Bolingbrook is hiring an Infant Teacher to nurture and educate our youngest learners. You’ll create a nurturing classroom, implement age-appropriate activities, and build strong relationships with families using our digital learning platform.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits with at least 6 in Early Childhood Education OR 30 college credits with at least 6 in Early Childhood Education with one year experience OR equivalent certification (CDA).
• Associate Degree or BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of classroom teaching in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for infants.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
• Ensure a safe and clean learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.

Salary Range

$15.00 -$21.00 per hour (Teacher Qualified Candidates - $17.00 to $21.00 per hour; Non Teacher Qualified Candidates - $15.00 - $16.50 per hour)
