Job summary

Primrose School of Bolingbrook is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our caring team at 550 S. Weber Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60490.

No nights or weekends required; this is an on-site role focusing on nurturing and early learning for preschoolers. You'll deliver age-appropriate lessons using our digital platform, build strong relationships with families, manage classroom routines, and participate in ongoing professional development. Pay is $15.00-$20.00 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits with at least 6 in Early Childhood Education or 30 credits with 6 in Early Childhood Education with one year experience or CDA.
• Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Primrose training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
