Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield is seeking an Infant Teacher to create a safe, loving environment for our youngest learners. You will help open a new Infant room and guide children through our LEAP Curriculum® while sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones with families.

The role requires at least 6 months of infant experience, Connecticut licensing compliance, and a caring, energetic approach. We offer a supportive team, paid training, and opportunities for growth in Enfield.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
• Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement our LEAP Curriculum® to support early learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.
