The Learning Experience Enfield is seeking a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team and help our littlest learners explore the world around them. Create a safe, loving classroom and implement our L.E.A.P.

Curriculum® while building strong relationships with families. Requirements include 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience, an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred, or a High school diploma/GED with related experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and preschool milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet Connecticut state requirements for Early Childhood Teacher position.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to support early learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.
