The Goddard School is an industry-leading child-care center for children from six weeks to six years. At Goddard, children are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment, lovingly guided by our highly skilled, professional teachers. The Goddard School uses the most current and academically endorsed method of inquiry-based learning. The Goddard School's Wonder of Learning (our proprietary curriculum):

• Populates with preset lessons that allow the teachers to focus on student development and relationships
• The ability to create your own lessons and activities based upon student development
• Assessments populated through simple teacher observation
• Weekly lesson planning time outside the classroom

Lead Teachers, with help from their Assistant Teacher (or co-lead), are responsible for ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards. Lead Teachers write and implement their own lesson plans based on Goddard Developmental Guidelines and monthly school themes. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning!

Lead Teacher Qualifications:

• Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Prior classroom experience (Preferred, will train)
• Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and communication skills

Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Prior childcare experience (Preferred, will train)
• Pursuing degree (CDA and Early Childhood Degree partnerships with TEACH Ohio)
• Child Care Experience: 1 year (Preferred, will train)
