Job summary

The Goddard School of Huntingdon Valley, PA is seeking an Infant Teacher to provide a nurturing, safe environment and support the physical, social and emotional development of infants.

You will implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum, observe progress, document milestones, and collaborate with a team to deliver a positive, engaging learning experience. This role emphasizes safety, family partnerships, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of child development and curriculum development.
• Able to develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team.
• Previous experience working with infants or toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of the children
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Observe and assess the development of the children
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain proper records, including documenting observations and milestones
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Model appropriate behaviors for children
• Work with a team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environment
