Job summary

The JOY FM is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant for our Infant Room to support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for our youngest learners.

This temporary role runs 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including feeding, diapering, soothing, and documenting progress for families. The position starts at $15 per hour and may renew after one year.

Qualifications

• Prior infant care or early childhood education experience preferred.
• CPR/First aid certifications are a plus; ongoing training is beneficial.
• Ability to work 9–6 Monday through Friday in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with daily activities promoting development.
• Provide attentive infant care including feeding, diapering, soothing, safety.
• Observe and document infant progress and communicate with families.
