The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputable healthcare organization in Helena to recruit an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher for the Infant Room. You will support the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 24 months, while supporting their developmental and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification within the specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of infant safety and licensing requirements.
• Ability to work with infants aged 6 weeks to 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily infant activities and routines.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate activities, learning, and play.
• Supervise infants in classroom and outdoor play areas.
• Adapt activities to individual infant needs and maintain a clean classroom.
• Follow daily routines and lesson plans; provide coverage where needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources.
• Maintain respectful communication with children, families, and staff.
• Follow state childcare licensing and center requirements; participate in training.
