Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an Infant Nutrition Lab Technician at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Elkhorn, NE. This casual, part-time role supports infant formula preparation, donor milk handling, and inventory within a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include following safety protocols, collaborating with dietitians and nurses, and documenting orders and charges in the EMR. Prior healthcare or customer service experience is preferred, with a Food Handlers Certificate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• 6 months customer service experience (healthcare preferred).
• Food Handlers Certificate preferred.
• Basic math, accurate measurements, and calculator use required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare infant formulas per orders and protocols.
• Maintain the Infant Nutrition Lab and donor milk supply.
• Order and inventory formula products and supplies (Lawson).
• Document charges accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain proper storage of formulas and inventory par levels.
• Verify diet/feeding orders in electronic system and communicate with staff.
