Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist with NICU experience to provide skilled services for infants. A PRN opportunity is available, with mentorship and professional development as part of the program.

The role involves evaluation, treatment planning, family education, and collaboration with the care team. Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. Flexible, patient-centered care is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current Physical Therapist license required.
• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides therapy, considering discharge needs and equipment.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers; recommends referrals as needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants and students with appropriate supervision and skill assessment.
• Completes documentation in accordance with department policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
