Lead Infant Teacher – The Learning Experience, Staten Island (St. George), NY

About Us

The Learning Experience (TLE) is opening its first center in Staten Island, located in St. George! As part of a rapidly growing early education brand in the U.S., we are dedicated to creating joyful, safe, and developmentally enriching environments for children from infancy through age 5.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, nurturing Lead Infant Teacher eager to make a positive impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a nurturing infant classroom in compliance with NYC DOHMH Article 47.
  2. Implement TLE’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum and infant care routines.
  3. Provide a warm, responsive caregiving environment to foster strong bonds with each child.
  4. Maintain daily reports on feedings, diapers, naps, and developmental milestones.
  5. Follow health, safety, and sanitization procedures.
  6. Communicate effectively and regularly with families.
  7. Collaborate with center leadership to enhance classroom quality.
Qualifications (Required)
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Education: Associate’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a Study Plan with 90+ college credits, including 6+ ECE credits.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of supervised teaching experience with infants under 12 months.
  • Understanding of responsive caregiving and infant developmental stages.
  • CPR/First Aid and DOHMH trainings preferred (can be completed upon hire).
