Lead Infant Teacher – The Learning Experience
Staten Island (St. George), NY
Infant Program (Ages 6 weeks–12 months)
Anticipated Opening: June--July 2025

About Us:
The Learning Experience (TLE) is opening its first-ever center in Staten Island—right in the heart of St. George! As part of one of the fastest-growing early education brands in the U.S., we’re committed to creating joyful, safe, and developmentally rich environments for children from infancy through age 5.

We’re looking for a Lead Infant Teacher who is passionate, nurturing, and ready to make a difference from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a nurturing infant classroom in compliance with NYC DOHMH Article 47

  • Implement TLE’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum and infant care routines

  • Ensure a warm, responsive caregiving approach to build strong bonds with each child

  • Maintain daily reports of feedings, diapers, naps, and milestones

  • Follow health, safety, and sanitization procedures

  • Communicate effectively and regularly with families

  • Partner with center leadership to support overall classroom quality

Qualifications (Required):

  • Must be at least 18 years old

Education:
• Associate’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education...OR...
• Study Plan with 90+ college credits (including 6+ ECE credits)


Experience:
  • At least 1 year of supervised teaching experience with infants under 12 months

  • Understanding of responsive caregiving and infant developmental stages

  • CPR/First Aid and DOHMH trainings preferred (can be completed upon hire)
