Job summary

The Learning Experience - Milford, MA is seeking an experienced and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher who understands how much learning happens during a baby's very first year.

You’ll lead a warm, responsive Infant classroom where individualized care, developmental milestones, and meaningful early learning experiences are woven into each child’s day. You’ll guide staff, observe progress, and maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as an Infant-Toddler Lead Teacher.
• Experience in an Infant/Toddler classroom strongly preferred.
• Leadership or classroom leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences
• Provide responsive, individualized care based on each child’s needs
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines
• Implement The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Engage infants through sensory exploration, language, music, movement, and play
• Observe and document children’s development
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom
• Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements

Pay: $22-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
