Job summary

The Malvern School is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Infant classroom at The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.

The role requires planning, supervising and implementing an exceptional Early Childhood Education program while maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment. You will communicate with parents regularly and meet expectations using technology and in-person updates, with qualifications including a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 30 credit hours in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education or human services and 1 year of experience with children.
  • Associate’s degree in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education or human services and 2 years of experience with children.
  • Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education or human services and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
  • Communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field
