The Malvern School of Upper Gwynedd is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Infant classroom. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday and offers the chance to design creative curriculum in a supportive, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
