Job summary

The Learning Experience - Manassas City is seeking an experienced Infant Lead Teacher to create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for our youngest learners. You will lead the Infant classroom with nurturing guidance and support developmental milestones throughout each child’s day.

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday with a competitive hourly rate of $16-$18 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required.
• Professional Infant classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred.
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of infant care and development.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborative.
• Must meet Virginia licensing requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiences.
• Provide responsive and individualized care.
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routines.
• Implement The Learning Experience's LEAP Curriculum.
• Engage infants through sensory exploration, language, music, movement, and play.
• Observe and document children's development and milestones.
• Guide and collaborate with classroom team members.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroom.
• Follow Virginia licensing and center requirements.

Pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Manassas City is seeking an experienced and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for our youngest learners.

You'll take an active leadership role in the Infant classroom while providing responsive care, supporting developmental milestones, and creating meaningful early learning experiences throughout each child's day.

Key Responsibilities
