Job summary

The Learning Experience - Gainesville is seeking an Infant Teacher to provide nurturing, responsive care and meaningful early learning experiences for our youngest learners. You will support developmental milestones, introduce babies to language and sensory experiences, and build trusting relationships with families during one of the most important stages of childhood.

This full-time role follows the L.E.A.P.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional childcare or early childhood classroom.
• Knowledge of infant care and development.
• Must meet Virginia licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsive care for infants
• Support feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and individual daily routines
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Engage infants through sensory exploration, music, movement, language, and play
• Observe children's development and milestones
• Maintain accurate classroom and care documentation
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
• Maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized Infant classroom
• Follow Virginia licensing and center requirements
