Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work while maintaining sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Measure ingredients as needed.
2. Transport food, supplies, and equipment safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly, adhering to safety, dating, and rotation procedures.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly.
5. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Follow approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
7. Serve customers courteously and efficiently, following the steps of service.
8. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Relay relevant information to supervisors.
10. Perform sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and issuing receipts.
11. Manage cash drawer, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage policies.
12. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
