Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks an Infant Feeding Prep Tech to support the Special Care Nursery. You will calculate, prepare, and deliver human milk and infant formula according to provider orders, ensuring safety and accuracy throughout preparation.

This role also handles inventory, completes temperature and sanitation records, operates feeding prep equipment, and maintains sanitation policies in the IFP area. Weekend rotations apply (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.); there is no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Performs inventory, completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area, and performs quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience as an Infant Feeding Prep Tech.
• Completion of Ohio State University: Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.Knowledge of medical terminology.

7a-7:30p
