Job summary

Little Feathers Learning Center is seeking an Infant Educator to provide nurturing, responsive care for infants, following individualized care plans and collaborating with families to ensure consistency between home and school.

You will support feeding, sleep, diapering, and early developmental milestones, while maintaining a clean, organized classroom and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required (ECE coursework or CDA preferred).
• Must meet Nevada licensing, fingerprinting, and background check requirements.
• Experience with infants (0-18 months) in a licensed setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of infant development and feeding/sleep routines.
• Ability to provide nurturing, responsive care and build trust with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment that supports each infant's needs.
• Follow and document individualized care plans including feeding, sleeping, and diapering.
• Maintain safe sleep practices, sanitation procedures, and health guidelines.
• Support early development through age-appropriate sensory play and tummy time.
• Build trusting relationships with infants to promote attachment and security.
• Communicate daily with families through logs, photos, and developmental notes.
• Observe and track milestones and share progress with leadership and families.
• Maintain a clean, calm, and organized classroom environment.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to infants' needs and cues.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality care and smooth operations.
• Uphold Nevada licensing, QRIS, and center policies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Early Childhood Education coursework or CDA preferred
