Job summary

Little Legends Learning Center, Inc is hiring for a full-time or part-time Assistant Infant Daycare Teacher to nurture and care for babies aged six weeks to fifteen months in the Champaign, IL area. The role offers competitive pay of $16 - $17 per hour depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will work with a caring team to provide daily care, implement age-appropriate activities, and ensure a safe, happy environment for infants in our center.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a licensed daycare
• 3 written references
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Food handler certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Gateways to Opportunity membership or willingness to join
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to submit to a physical

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for infants and help with activities like eating, face washing and diaper changes
• Develop age-appropriate activities to promote healthy child development
• Work with head teacher and staff to keep babies safe, comfortable and happy
• Identify and remove potential choking hazards or dangers in the environment
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing toys and surfaces at end of day
