Little Legends Learning Center, Inc is hiring for a full-time Assistant Toddler Teacher to support two-year-olds in the Champaign, IL area. This daycare position offers a competitive wage of $16 - $17 per hour, depending on experience.

As part of the childcare team you assist the lead teacher with age-appropriate curriculum, prepare materials, help with daily routines, meals, and diaper changes, and keep records for families.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in childcare or related field preferred.
• Ability to work with two-year-olds in a classroom setting.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and Gateways to Opportunity membership.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with age-appropriate curriculum for two-year-olds.
• Prepare materials for lesson plans and activities.
• Help children with daily routines (hand washing, dressing, potty training, diaper changes).
• Prepare snacks and lunches following dietary restrictions.
• Keep the classroom clean and sanitized and maintain daily child records.
• Meet with parents to discuss the day and progress.
