Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains, Inc. seeks an Early Childhood Infant Teacher in Brookings, SD. The role delivers Creative Curriculum, plans developmentally appropriate activities, and supports each child's growth under the supervision of the Early Childhood Center Director.

Strong family engagement and documentation are expected daily. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CDA within the first year, CPR/First Aid, and a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year or four-year degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential required or must be obtained within first year of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Creative Curriculum with fidelity and plan developmentally appropriate activities.
• Engage families through daily communication and conferences.
• Maintain accurate records for assessments and CACFP reporting.
• Provide direction to Classroom Assistants and maintain a safe, organized classroom.
