Job summary

Child Development Schools in Wilson, North Carolina, seeks a Lead Teacher for the Infant Classroom to guide early experiences and foster curiosity. You will create a nurturing, safe environment and partner with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with families
• Ability to pass a background check
• Wamiliar with licensing and ratio requirements
• Willing to complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire
• Experience in licensed childcare is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for the infant classroom
• Keep the classroom safe and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and scheduled conferences
• Complete attendance, incident reports, and assessments
