Job summary

The Growing Years is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Infant classroom in Clayton, NC. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:15am–5:15pm, with a compensation range of $15–$18 per hour based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Substitute for any position as needed, including breaks and absences.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and assist the lead teacher as directed.
• Move around small children; sit, stand, walk, run, and climb stairs as needed.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet physical requirements of the role.
