Job summary

The Goddard School in Prosper, TX is seeking a caring Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team. You will support the Lead Teacher, assist with daily routines, feeding, diapering, and early development in a nurturing classroom environment.

You will help create a safe, loving space for our youngest learners while collaborating with the Lead Teacher to support routines, activities, and responsive caregiving throughout the day.

Qualifications

Experience with infants or young children preferred.
Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
Dependable, patient and nurturing personality.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.
Providing attentive care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Engaging with infants through play, language, and sensory experiences.
Communicating positively with team members and families.
Following licensing and health & safety guidelines.
