Job summary

The Goddard School in Vinings, GA is seeking an energetic Assistant Infant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging activities, managing the classroom, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for infants.

Starting pay is $17 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma; Early Childhood Education coursework or degree is preferred, along with experience with young children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
