The Goddard School of Atlanta is seeking a motivated Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging programs, managing the classroom and maintaining a safe, stimulating environment at our Buckhead location in Atlanta, GA 30305.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience working with young children in licensed childcare or preschool.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactions.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging.
• Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment.
• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
