Job summary

USA DeBusk, LLC. is seeking an Inert Catalyst HSE Safety Manager to ensure safe planning, control, and execution of inert operations at client sites, emphasizing OSHA compliance and high-risk activity prevention.

The role requires leading field safety efforts, coordinating with project management, and promoting a strong safety culture while handling catalyst processing, confined spaces, and refinery turnaround safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OSH preferred.
• 5+ years of HSE experience in refinery/chemical industrial services.
• Safety certification required; CHST minimum.
• Valid driver's license and TWIC required.
• Experience in inert catalyst operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct HSE leadership for inert catalyst project operations.
• Establish and maintain project-specific HSE expectations and requirements.
• Serve as the primary HSE point of contact for assigned inert catalyst projects.
• Participate in project planning, pre-job meetings, kickoff meetings, and client HSE meetings.
• Maintain a visible field presence and routinely observe work activities.
• Coach supervisors and employees on safe work practices and hazard recognition.
• Manage incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Conduct causal analysis for incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Provide HSE oversight of nitrogen inert and catalyst-handling operations.
• Organize and oversee safety training and onboarding.
