Job Description

As an Industry Sales Director, you will lead a team of Global Account Managers, resulting in sustained sales and market share growth for assigned products, solutions, and services. You will drive the expansion of our ability to serve and grow revenue in the Warehouse and Logistics market. You will report to the Vice President - Industry Accounts and may work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of 5 Global Account Managers and be responsible for their development and performance.
  2. Provide sales guidance to globally strategic accounts (End User & OEM).
  3. Ensure account plans and strategies are developed, and goals are achieved.
  4. Develop executive relationships with strategic customers, positioning Rockwell Automation as a lead partner at the account.
  5. Enhance Rockwell Automation's global profile in Warehouse and Logistics through thought leadership, engagement with industry and trade associations, and speaking engagements at industry events.
  6. Collaborate with Global OEM Segments, Marketing organizations, and Teams to develop go-to-market and sales strategies for Warehouse and Logistics.
  7. Help define Industry & OEM Strategic Plans (BSR), including KPIs, DoWs, long-term needs, opportunities, and investments, in partnership with Global Industry resources.
  8. Establish extended teams of subject matter experts, segment advocates, and business unit resources to drive strategic initiatives and growth objectives.
  9. Engage with partners across Rockwell Automation to identify portfolio and capability gaps and propose solutions (organic and inorganic).
  10. Clearly articulate the value of our offerings, including those of our partners, at all organizational levels, especially executive levels.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology
  • 5+ years experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration, or related fields
  • Experience managing sales teams or leading distributors
  • Experience working with all levels of industrial automation organizations
  • Global business, commercial, or sales experience
  • Strong leadership and executive presence
  • Experience in high-performance organizations
  • Valid Passport and Driver's License

For this role, the total target compensation ranges from $181,280 to $271,920, with 60% base salary and 40% variable pay. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will depend on skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
