East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is seeking an Industry Partner Coordinator to grow our Registered Apprenticeship Program by strengthening strategic relationships with local and regional employers. Flexibility is required for varied hours in a dynamic educational environment.

The role focuses on identifying new partnership opportunities, promoting apprenticeship pathways, and serving as the main liaison among EVIT, employer partners, and apprenticeship stakeholders.

Applications are being accepted for the position of Industry Partner Coordinator for East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT). Business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., though instructional programs may run as early as 7:00 a.m. and as late as 9:30 p.m. Flexibility is required, including occasional evening or weekend hours to fulfill job-related responsibilities.

Experience in the Industrial Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, or related field) is required

Position Summary

The Industry Partnership Coordinator plays a vital role in expanding and strengthening the East Valley Institute of Technology's (EVIT) Registered Apprenticeship Program. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with local and regional employers across a variety of industry sectors. The coordinator will proactively identify new partnership opportunities, promote the value of apprenticeship pathways, and serves as the primary liaison between EVIT, employer partners, and other key apprenticeship stakeholders.

Full Time- Exempt. Grant Funded

Salary

$62,632.00 - $77,626.00 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, and certification.

Please note, that it is mandatory to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System plan (ASRS), which includes the regular contribution rate of 11.87% for retirement and 0.11% for Long-Term Disability per pay period. EVIT matches the retirement contribution dollar for dollar.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, workforce development, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a skilled trade field such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, or a related industry may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Experience in employer engagement, business development, workforce programming, career services, apprenticeship administration, or skilled trades industries.
• Experience with registered apprenticeship programs or work-based learning initiatives, or skilled trades workforce development programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Arizona labor market, regional workforce needs, and economic development initiatives is preferred.
• Understanding of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, apprenticeship pathways, and public education systems is preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.

Licensing /Certification and Other Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance.
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
