SEIU Local 2015 is seeking a strategic, experienced, and results‑oriented Industry Director to lead bargaining, contract campaigns, industry strategy, and representational work across multiple industries and bargaining units.
Reporting to the Statewide Deputy Director (or designee), the Industry Director leads a team of staff and is responsible for developing and executing bargaining strategies, leading contract negotiations, coaching bargaining teams, supporting organizing and contract campaigns, and strengthening the union’s ability to build worker power through collective action.
This position works closely with union officers, statewide leadership, regional teams, organizers, member leaders, and bargaining committees to advance industry goals, improve working conditions, negotiate strong contracts, and support the long‑term growth of the union.
The ideal candidate brings deep labor relations expertise, extensive bargaining table experience, strong leadership skills, a commitment to the values and mission of SEIU Local 2015, and the ability to develop innovative strategies that advance member priorities and organizational objectives.
This position operates in a dynamic labor relations environment that may require evening and weekend work, extended bargaining sessions, contract campaigns, member meetings, and statewide travel.
Frequent in‑state travel is required to support bargaining, contract campaigns, trainings, member engagement, and organizational priorities, including regular electoral campaign work.
